Free Workshop – Creative Connections.

Join acclaimed poet, performance artist and community activist Amina Atiq for a free creative writing experience. This unique, five part-workshop for adults offers creative writing, community mapping, story sharing and reflective discussion.

Amina’s workshop experience is an exciting opportunity to develop your creative voice and build new friendships. Whether you’re new to writing or passionate about the written word, all levels of experience are welcome.

Working as part of a small collective from different communities, you’ll creatively explore themes of identity, resilience and place. You’ll also discover thought-provoking connections between past and present, reflecting on the connections between Port Sunlight’s complex history and global environmental issues of modern times.

This free experience consists of five evening sessions in Port Sunlight on Tuesday 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st October and the 7th November  6-8pm. Workshops are aimed at those 18+ and you will be expected to attend all sessions. Creative materials and refreshments will be provided.
